I think one is auto and one is stick and spinning alot.. would be different if they both were stick...

wow, definitely lame comparison!! the caddy does weigh about 300 lbs more but come on!! caddy is automatic so there is no lag between shifts, and the shelby is notorious for smokin those tires! put em both on a strip and then come talk to me

Your right! It was a "comparison" done by Car & Driver for Cadillac... (We know what that means) Looks completely set up visibly bias. And I'm not just saying that cause I love the Shelby.... lol... I have to say though, it could be a very close race if done right. However, I can't believe it until they're on an actual strip and we can see under the hoods of both cars, both cars are stick, ect. Until then, It's just an advertisement for Cadillac trying to show their transition into luxury/ sport performance...

......... im not racist but u dont really see a white guy drive a caddy unless their old as dirt or they think their something else....... if it were any other situation the caddy woulda lost......... its a proven fact that back in the day mustangs were the cheapest and fastest track car an daily driver that was american atleast...... i wanna see a real grudge match between the shelby and the caddy to see who really wins

I did test drive the CTS-V sedan. I have to admit, it is fast and smooth. I believe it is stock 545hp so comparable to the GT500 in hp. But the Caddy is heavier.
