I have red pit stripes which the red calliper covers would go good with, just wanted to see what you guys think

i think u might be better off painting ur calipers instead of doing covers cuz covers r basically a peice of plastic besides i know when i pull up to someone and see plastic covers on a muscle car i die a lil inside it also might be a little cheaper cuz ur only cost is the can of paint but make sure u get the high temp stuff just my opinion

i see what you're saying, but im pretty sure the covers are aluminum, if i tried to paint them it would be messy for me,lol but thanx for the input.

They are aluminum. And I tried painting mine with caliper cover paint, they were high temp ones and they eventually peeled and looked like crap. I had my caliper cover on mine and they actually kept my wheels clean from the brake dust. Before I had mine, I thought they would look like crap, but after I put it on, it does bring out the wheels some. Mine are made by MGP and they are top quality product.

yeah i guess if theyre aluminum thats not bad but u gotta admit that a painted caliper looks alot sweeter than a cover besides any chance i get to take a cover off something i go for it like the newer cars when u open the hood u dont see the engine u just see a plastic cover but i suppose i might be a lil old fashion cuz i grew up workin on classic mustangs and when u pop the hood and see all the chrome and all the goodies its an awesome feelin. but time wise i can understand u wanting to do covers cuz its a whole lot easier

red with black.. personally i painted mine with high temp. red paint and got the black MUSTANG letter stickers, stuck em on, and high temp. clear coated.. still looking great. i think black wouldnt give you enough curb appeal for your time and $ but thats my opinion lol
