born at 1025, 7 pounds 4.3 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long, mom and baby are doing well

Its about time!! I kept telling Shell that she just didnt want to to the whole meet and greet with everyone lol!!! CONGRATS to you both!

Thanks for the congrats. Shell is doing good and the baby is perfectly healthy. If anyone wants to stop at balboa to see her, she is in room 339 of 3N. In the mother and infant unit. She also said thanks for all the congrats. I will post mre later tonight when I get home.....

Unless something happens between now and sunday, we will be at the BBQ.

Thanks for all the compliments. So here are the gory details.......

4:25 AM, I get woke up by Shell saying we needed to go because her water broke.
5:00 AM, Settled in room at Balboa, hooked upto all kinds of contraptions.
7:00 AM, Second check to see where she is as far as dialating and stuff. not quite ready.
9:00 AM, Third check still not quite ready.
10:00 AM, Fourth check and they brought in a ER Doc for some training so if he has to do one in the ER he knows what he is doing. He says he cant figure out how dialated she is, the Nurse checks, then says UMMMM thats cause the head is right there..... LOL
10:22 AM, All the mass of people involved are assembled in the room, Michelle is told to go ahead and start pushing.
10:25 AM, Baby Sidnee is with us. Yeah thats right, 3 whole minutes of pushing....... The Nurse looked at the ER Doc and told him "Dont ever expect to see that again".....LOL

Great job Shell! I am proud of you. Thanks for all the compliments from you guys. I forgot to add that visiting hours are before 9 PM.
