Gary Basey

San Diego Chapter, some of you may know Gary Basey, Vice President of the Mustang Club of San Diego and rep at the Southern California Car Club Council. Just got word from his son, Gary passed away suddenly tonight approximately three hours ago. His wife found him at home and he was non-responsive to medics.

Gary was an Army veteran and retired San Diego County Sheriff Deputy. He was a wonderful man and had told me he enjoyed working with WickedStangs and want to join us for some our cruises and events. Gary will be missed. Will post up memorial and service info as it become available.

Spoke to him a couple times before. He was a great guy who had a definite love for Mustangs. Please keep us updated on the services planned for him.

We will meet at the Park and Ride at 5196 Governor Dr, San Diego. Just off the 805. At 9am to join the cruise in for the funeral with Mustang Club San Diego. Will leave sharply at 9:30.
