wanted to check what is needed for me to take my handgun into cali while I travel?

Make sure it is locked in a container and in your trunk, make sure that the magazines are unloaded, and if your magazines have a capacity of more than 10 look into selling them before you come over here. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, I will go buy a new magazine. I plan on locking it in a nano vault in trunk while in Cali. Can it be unlocked while in hotel room?
There is no point really since you can only use a firearm in California for the purpose of defending your life from an armed person
