hey guys sorry if its a repeat or old ? but tried the search and nothing came up..am looking to get an hid kit in the next month or 2 and want something that is quality and will last as ive heard and seen horror stories with products made in china. i want the pure white look which is around 5k kelvin i was looking at the oem hid lights by ford and saleen that cost 800$ and they are 4300k but i believe these are still yellowish and they dont make them for the fogs. does anyone have them on their cars and do you guys have pics to compare? otherwise my next option would be to retrofit with a cheaper kit that is 6k kelvin but that is more of a blueish tint which i want to stay away from. im looking at a site that has a phillips brand, as they are durable, at 6k so if anyone has this brand if you can post a pic id appreciate it thanks

look at ddm tuning. its 70ish bucks a kit for ballast and bulb and you can get any bulb color you want.they are also local in SD behind the walmart in claremont mesa and they offer a lifetime warranty against the ballast and the bulb. here is a pic of mine from my truck. they are the 55w kit and 6k bulbs.

ive had them for about 8 months now, and havent had any issues. install was really easy, the only headache is my fog lights have reverse polarity, so you have to hook the neg to the pos, they are bright as hell. on a strait road at night, as soon as i pass a mile marker, i can see the reflection of the next. they put out some serious light.

Both my cars have HIDguy.com HIDS both headlights and foglights. I have had the ones on the convertible for 3 years with no problems. They are amazing. I also highly recommend using the high/low ones and not the ones that take away your high beams. Your headlights will require adjustment when complete, but that is a quick 2 minute job. I installed all 4 kits on my own, one in a garage and one in a parking lot, so it just isn't hard. I think his kits are about 100 bucks for 2 lights, and I have the 6k, which is a nice white. Best upgrade I have done!

I second this! I have them on my Roush truck and despite being lowered, they glare all the signs from a long way away. And people don't like them. I am going to look into some shields that cut down on glare. I feel guilty when I come up behind a car and I light up their whole interior! LOL

well, i dont have that issue, mine are projected to where they main light output is below the window line....but if you dont have projector lights, then your gonna need to do something, or people will flash their lights at you all day long
