Hey guys I was thinking about throwing a poker party at my house soon. I was going to invite some friends I used to play with from my last command ect. Well then I thought what if we had enough people from WS that would like to play. I was thinking about a Texas Holdem game and we do a 20 dollar buy in with one rebuy. The catch so we are not here all night after the first player is out we raise blinds every 15-20 min and blinds go up after each player is out as well to make the game move and we are not here all night. So If we get say 5 people to play and its a 20$ buy inn. That is a 100$ pot right off the bat and say each of them want to rebuy. A rebuy say we start with 50-75 chips depends on how many players of course rebuy you get half the amount for 10$ So that is 150$ if you take the whole thing right.... wrong! This is a wickedstangs poker night!!!! We all get to hang out have a couple of beers and winner walks out the door with say 100$ and 50$ goes back to the club. How does that sound or we could do it 50/50. 50% goes back to the club and 50% goes home with you.
Anyway what do you guys think??? If this sounds good and you play please respond to the thread. That way we can get a head count. I have a nice long table I can put out but you may have to bring a chair. I have a felt cloth that would go over the table and 150 clay chips. Depends on how many people play we may have to get another set. Anyway just throwing the idea out there to see who would be intrested.
