I've never run here at night before. The cooler evening air and a hot track could make for some great timeslips.

Trying to beat my personal best of 8.69. There is probably a couple 10th's still in the car, but with a stock stall converter and street tires, I am giving it all up on the launch with a 2.0 60ft.

Hope to get the timing added to the car this week...maybe Wednesday night at Hooters. Then see what she's got before the new axles and slicks are installed.

7's or BUST!

Glad to see you'll be running her. No worries, with a AAA "plus" membership, they will tow up to 100 miles.

You may be right about the tires Phil. I've had the Race Gas + Tune in the car for the last couple of days.
I've never had the car break traction from a roll before! Twice yesterday, I went WOT at about a 10 mph roll and had the tires get loose.

On the other hand, bringing the rev's up with the foot brake actually hurts performance (unless you have a trans brake). The stock converter will only stall up to about 16-1800, but flashing the converter from idle allows the rpm's to jump higher into the torque (about 2200), and the converter will multiply it that much more. It's a fluid coupler that works on load, and the load from the brakes doesn't come close to the load of the car's weight. The only thing I can do to get the rpm higher is to install a looser (higher stall) converter. Until then, I'll keep launching from idle.

Fun Fun Fun OMG so much FUN!

......RT...60ft...ET...MPH
#1 .554 2.029 8.76 83.02
#2 .627 2.024 8.76 83.21
#3 .694 2.029 8.75 83.49
#4 .929 2.049 8.81 83.02
#5 .633 2.056 8.83 82.59
#6 .637 2.032 8.76 81.87

The two slower times (4 & 5) were when I hot lapped the car, doing three runs back to back to back.
Other than that, I probably would have killed in the gambler with an 8.75 dial-in!

I think I'm ready for the next level...

I think your ready for just a good set of sticky tires. That will drop your ET. You will be able to smash it and get those 60ft times down to 1.8
Put a little go fast on there and you will be hitting low 8's to high 7's on street tires. With slicks you would be as fast as me for sure. A auto car
will be on NOS all they way down track vs my car I let up to shift and when I do NOS cuts off. It will only come on if you use the ZEX kit at WOT
Slicks and a 75 shot. You will be in 7's
