• 1980–1993 AOD
• 1994–1995 AODE
• 1996–2004 4R70W
• 2005 + 4R75W (Not Sure) anyone??????
• 2005-2010 Mustang GT's is the 5R55S

I believe that the T5 was first used in the 1983 mustang which replace the 4 speed SROD manual transistion. However I believe that somewhere between 1985 and 1987 they upgraded to the world class t5.

The automatic transmission in the 2005-2010 Mustang GT's is the 5R55S.
