Well the lightning is gone, the motor was hurt and I needed
around 7 grand to replace it, although it would have been replaced
with a mmr1000 long block with ported heads and
cams, it was still a lot of money.
So the wife said trade it in. Get something that gets better
gas mileage. Great I'm gonna get stuck with a focus...
Well we get there and I look at the new mustang gt.
They are nice, find a black on black and start drooling.
I want to drive it but she say no, your not getting gt.......
If your getting a mustang you might a well get the better ones, meaning
a cobra or Roush as I'm running to the show room to look at the cobra I
fall in love with it, I'm looking at the motor while she's looking at the price
tag and at 80,000.00 she instantly reconsiders her previous statement. I completely a
understand and even if I wanted to could not afford
a 1200 dollar payment but there was a yellow boss there also and at 45,000.00
It was looking like that would work in my budget after hours of fighting
for my life for the payment I wanted, they would not budge on a 9 dollar
difference. So home we went in my truck. Half way home
they call with an offer that was still 5 dollars over our budget, as I started to
get off hwy to turn around wife again refused. At home I was laying down
in diabelife that 5 dollars was the end of my dream we get called again, this
time they said that my wife's offer was accepted, we won, finally my wife's
stubborn ways work in my favor.
now we have a new 2013 school bus yellow boss, with recarro seats.
Will post pics soon, just can't with the phone. Computer should be up and
running by this weekend.
