I have 17x9 and 17x10.5 wheels, i need new tires and im wonderin what i should get. And also just wonderin what yall are runnin on your stangs. Im lookin to keep tires+ install and alignment under 1k. Thanks

I have Nitto NT05 on my rear. 295/35/18 on the front. Currently 255/45/18 on the front.
What kind if driving are you planning?

Well its my daily driver so as much as id love to put mickey thompsons on there i cant afford to. Mainly daily drivin nothin too crazy. I dont want cheap tires like sumitomo but other than them and nitto everything else is a dr that comes in 315. A guy at a tire store was tryin to sell me some continental dw tires in 285/40/17 for the back. He said theyd fit 9.5 to 11 i just dont want em to look streched ya know?
I love my tires and wouldnt go with anything else. I run FR500 Rims with BFG KDW tires 295x18 on rear and 265x18 on front. Very nice tire. I have pulled 1.8 60 ft with them at the track. I use my car for basic daily driving now in Wa. It rains all the time and I get great traction with them wet or dry

I ended up with nittos. 3 days ago. Got 555r on the back ive heard mixed reviews about them. I guess we will see. I got reg 555 on the front and so far im happy ive only driven like 20 miles though. But already it solved some problems, with these my car doesnt seem to be gettin jerked all Over the rd. so im pretty happy so far. Thanks though

NOOOO! Worst tire ever. I would've given my 555rs to you lol don't get me wrong, they're a great street tire, but good luck trying to even get a stock car to hook at the track on them. I bought them a while back too because they're pretty cheap. You want a good street performing DR, get BFG or the mt et radials.

He never said he wanted to drag race with them. I have the same tire out back on my 02 and they are crap for drag racing. I cant complain about them for the street tho, ******* awesome for the street and for mountain carving. Not a bad tire when it rains, I haven't hydroplained with them yet. Tire looks great for car shows. Its a great buy just dont plan on drag racing with them lol.

I would have and but they just wear to fast from what ive read.
I guess that's kind of true. My bfgs didn't last a ton, but they saw a lot of track time.

Someone answer my dang question! Lmfao will they atleast hook better than my sumitomos?
Seriously I doubt it. Me and mustang02gt spent a whole day at the track with them on our cars trying every burnout, launch and psi combo and nothing worked. From like 25 on te street they would grab ok for me though.
