Mustang vs. the World III (RECAP)

Alright, I like to say to all of the Volunteers you guys did an outstanding job...

There were only a few minor issues but, we have nailed it for the next time.

1. Thanks to CWO for making a File to be used for quick averaging of the run times. Shame on me for forgetting it. (I had my laptop all ready to go and forget it at home.) Danny and CWO step up and calculated everything from scratch. Thanks guys

2. USNLightning (Eric) - Thank you very much. You are the man. He made everything go smoothly in the press box. He has lots of experience running these type of events. I have to say without him things would not have gone as well as it did.

3. All the registration and staging was outstanding..

4. Got alot of feedback and we may introduce a bike class for future events.

With each event we have it gets better and better.

Good Job Everyone.:rock::rock:

Good Job Staff!!! I only seen one thing with reg booth and once it was explained it went smooth. Great JOB!!!!
This was one smooth event. I didnt get to see the second but as far as the way it was planned an ran from the first was 10x
better. Just having the guys run and get the average of times vs. trying to have guys in 8.0 line up against each other ect was far better.
That is what made the first one a little crazy. AGAIN GREAT JOB!!!! :)

With every event, it's get better. There were plenty of improvement from the first one. With time and experience it will only get better. I, too, would like to thank all the volunteers for their excellent work and making the event for what it is. Without the volunteers, there's no way it could have gone as smoothly as it did. I saw a lot of hustling up and down the track to get racers where they should be and again, thank you for your hard work and effort. I heard many compliments and how much fun many of the other entrants were about the event, hopefully, this will help us bring some more racers out to the next race. What a wonderful day, can't wait for the next one.

Had a great time, Thanks again to Eric for lending us his expertese. Eric and i decided at the start that he should be a "floater" hitting any potential issues before it became a crisis, This he did beautifully. Effective use of radios was also a great help (though I couldn't hear at times cause all the rice in my ears). Future events we really need experienced racers to step up as volunteers. Most of us on the staff were eager but not experienced at all, Eric really saved the day.
I think we can do away with the return lane position in the future, we should put out at the drivers meeting to return to pit after each run, and we can notify the drivers who will move up. Just my 2 cents... Thanks again to everyone involved and congratulations to all the winners.

I personally think everything went smooth as silk with the exception of having to wait so long in between races. I really wish they would give us our own day!!!!!
