i keep on forgetting how positive displacement blowers love cold air, 42-45 degree night plus 18#s of boost with no warming up the car feels like a kick in the chest and getting thrown back in the seat like a ragdoll. it was fun while it lasted but unfortunately my tensioner took the burnt of it...how does that happen??? this was followed by a 12 hour stay at the side of the road while it took triple a 3 tries to be able to find a truck that could tow me :(

so i got a new tensioner and while i was at it decided to try and rearange some wires. i unbolted the screw that is a 12v power supply by fuse box to do so, without disconnecting battery--i know. well car is running but i found out at 7pm the other day that i dont have headlights anymore. the switch to light up headlights doesnt light up now either. only when i put on foglights. tried looking online for fuse numbers and so far they all check out...fuse 57,63,69. im thinking its dimmer switch? are there headlight fuses on smart junction box? ie the fuse box on passenger side? saw some diagrams indicating they are routed to sbj and they in turn have fuses but dont see anything for them???? any help would be appreciated

Sorry to hear about all your misfortunes. I dont know the electrical system on those cars.

haines? whats that? a manual? if so havent been able to get one...im going to get a volt meter and check all the lines i touched and go from there if not wasnt there an electrical shop around here that people had good results with?

well im completely stumped and freakin frustrated. the car wont start now, odometer wont even light up. went and had battery charged and nothing. thinking its bad alternator but even then odometer would light up no? if so then thinking its bad ecu? either way its going to ford dealer on monday
 
I would look for the Main fuse and see if that is ok. I blew that on my 20 year old non-mustang car a few years back while doing my own work with similar results(good lesson learned about what notr to touch w/ car under electrical power). Not sure where they are located in that car, but worth a check. They cost a pretty penny too if I remember correctly from dealer only too. Had to have mine ordered. Hope this helps.

so my car is still down havent really gotten around to it, some peeps were going to come down and look at it but never did in the meantime missing out on all the fun. anyone know anything about electrical stuff? otherwise im goint to have to send it in to the stealership just didnt want to get raped.
