Need help with a 66 C4 Tranny

My transmission in the 66 is shot, when it shifts to 2nd gear the RPM's climb and it slips.

I need some advise... Do I rebuild it or just buy another one? Does anyone have a good C4 or know a shop that I can trust to rebuild it?

A c4 is easy and cheap to rebuild. Any decent trans shop can do it. There are numerous reputable builders online too
