California Traffic Tickets Fines Effective 01/06/2011

Please be extremely careful in your driving and car registration &
insurance matters.

State of California is broke and they are trying hard to squeeze all of us hard to collect money.

Effective immediately, if you do not stop at the red light, be ready to pay $436 in fines

if you pass a school bus with flashing red signals, you
will be charged $616.* The state of California is going for blood, so be
extra careful in driving, you cannot afford messing with them.* I have been hearing that Highway Patrols are under pressure to issue a lot
more tickets than last year with at least 30% increase in fines over 2009, so beware of radar guns, highway and traffic cameras installed everywhere and the tougher enforcement of parking rules.

Just for your info, the next time you park in the handicapped zone, even
for a minute, you will be looking at almost $ 1000 in parking ticket, so
it'd better be worth it.

California needs money, so pay close attention to the rules of the road!

I agree with everything but the com licence laws and the speeding. I think everyone drives 80 mph down there so it
must be that guy running late doing 95 they are gonna pull over. The other fines I hope they stick to them. Nothing worse than not being able
to find a hadicap parking spot when I have my daughter in car

FML..... i cant wait to get out of this f*cking place.... oh well, anyone hear about the new truancy law? if your child misses more than 10% of their school year YOU pay a fine of $2000 and have to go to court and YOU could also spend a year in jail if the judge rules that way...

My brother in law had to pay a fine for that this week. He says he paid it once he got the notice for renewal last year and the DMV failed to mail it in time. He even showed proof. It would suck if the DMV starts to hold registrations for a lil bit longer just to get the driver to pay fines.

you can only put stuff on your windows in certain spots, i know its nothing below the AS1 line (i think thats what its calls) on the front window and i believe the back window if the the 6in lower corners but i cant remember 100%

I believe once you show proof of registration, the fine is reduce or waive.

As far as the window, anything that causes a view obstruction is illegal. Example: not allow to have anything hanging down from your rear view mirror while the car is in motion. Things like GPS must be placed on certain part of the window, upper left corner or lower left corner.

Cool so this may be why they have not mailed me my tickets yet 50 in a 40 and inadequate muffler.

that sucks.....not much better here in NC. before i sold my mustang i got a ticket for having my 5 year old strapped into the racing buckets (4 point harness too). they were too narrow to safely fit the booster seat. the cop destroyed me, and made me feel like a POS parent. 500 bucks later and a decent lawyer got it dropped.
