Hey all thought I would share that the bank just approved our offer to buy a house down in Otay village, we are scheduled to close 21st of April and hopefully I can put together a BBQ or something once we get settled.

Question for any of you, just got done with house inspection and all is well. However looks like the master bedroom carpet and stairs need to be replaced, preferable before I bring all my stuff to the house.
Does anyone have any suggestions for carpet installers/dealers. I am a decent DIY guy but I will be transitioning from apartment to house over the course of about a week and would like to have it done quickly IE: Same day would be great. I may be able to do the rip out myself and have it cleaned up and prepped if that will save me some dollars.
Any suggestions or previous experiances would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

Try Home Depot or Lowe's. Sometimes they are pretty reasonable with carpets and could possibly do it quickly. If not, may just have to yellow page it.
