replacing the clutch and shifter for a 2001

I have a 2001 V6 that I'm needing to replace the clutch on. While I have the transmission pulled I'm gonna go a head and replace the shifter. I'm wanting to put in either a Spec Stage 1 Clutch or a RAM HDX Clutch and a Hurst shifter. I know everyone has their own opinions on shifters and clutches. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
