Strut tower brace

Ok so I have heard back and forth issues with this, I have a bbk strut tower support brace, is it pointless to use this or what are the pros and cons on this part? My car is lowered and it has a rough ride, next few things I am looking at for suspension and everything is sub frame connectors, tubular control arms (front and rear), and sway bar kit.

Can I get some feed back please?
