Not the Boss most of you are thinking of as most of you guys don't even know me, but for the old school guys that are still around. This was the car that defined who I was back in the day.

It was the car that I met my wife in and began to modify. It was my 1st race car and it made 530 RWHP. 8 yrs ago that was nothing to shake a stick at. By today's standards that is nothing, but 8 yrs ago it was well respected. Well back in 2003 my wife and I both ended up on disability. We had just bought a house a yr earlier. She was on the disabled list after having my son and I just had shoulder surgery.

Shortly after returning to work I got laid off and we ended up losing our house. The car was torn down and I had plans to build a 408w and then put the novi2000 back on it. Well as it sat with all new suspension parts waiting on the motor we towed it to my in-laws house where it sat for a couple of months before selling the rolling chassis for $4600.

I didn't want to sell it, but I had to do what was best for my family at the time and we could use the $4600 after losing our home.

Well here we are almost 8 long years later and Bryan (friend from WMD) sends me a few pics a couple weeks ago asking "Is this your old car?"

I said "hell yeah where did you see it!?" He said "it was for sale for $800 and that a buddy told him about it".

Thanks Bryan!

Well I'm leaving at 2:30 today, headed to Ontario to bring the rolling chassis back to it's rightful owner! I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but my son Bobby is 8yrs old now and Jimmy is only 5. I'm thinking of a father and sons drag car build in the coming years. The 3 of us at the track some day no matter how fast or slow would be awesome.

I will post pics when the car is home.

So she is back home where she belongs, but is not all glorious as I hoped. The 8 yrs away from home has been rough on her lol.

It's in pretty rough shape, but nothing that isn't fixable. For now it will stay pretty much the way it is. I may tinker with it a little here and there, but nothing major.
